READ; Hey guys! I received an e-mail a few weeks back, for a drawing request. This was a bit different from other commissioned requests i’ve had as the e-mail went on to explain how it would be a Christmas present for the woman’s grandparents. The grandfather of which is extremely ill, and has an illness which is stunting the use of various muscles, and making him less capable of doing things each day. She went onto explain how he used to like art, and this would be the perfect present for him. Their going to present him with it, and somehow get him to watch this video. I was pleased to take up this, and i hope i’ve done it justice. sorry for the bad speaking again, Im not the best talker haha, and i dont have the best video editing software so thats not that good either, but hey. In late November 2001, the CBS television network aired a two-hour special in honor of Michael Jackson’s thirtieth year as a solo entertainer. It was one of the highest rated TV shows in the world. (his first solo single, “Got to Be There”, was recorded in 1971). The show was edited from footage of two separate concerts Michael had orchestrated in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 7 and September 10 of 2001. The shows sold out in five hours. Ticket prices were pop’s most expensive ever; the best seats cost $5000 and included a dinner with Michael Jackson and a signed poster. At Michael Jackson’s 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden (2001), he performed “The Way You Make Me Feel” with and without Britney Spears. I don’t know why, but as far as I can see, this version without Britney couldn’t be found here.
